Lachlan Craft Circle Meeting, October 9, 2015

Can there ever be too much laughter?  It was a close thing in the Lachlan Hall today – some of our members are great value entertainment!

Yet again, there were fantastic examples of work in progress with spinning, knitting, crochet and embroidery – always a joy to see what comes out of the baskets and bags.  Our show and tell table was filled by a completed and colourful crocheted rug, a knitted sweater, a “soft as silk” woven, woolen scarf in colours of the forest, a felted chicken door stop, a gorgeous hank of novelty yarn, knitted toys and a tea cosy mouse.

We were treated with a display of a hand-made crocheted tea set along with felted cutlery – all laid out on a table covered with a “woven” tea cloth.

Each meeting of our group brings more surprises – such talent!
