Lachlan Craft Circle – August 26, 2016

Z

What to do with a lovely, fine knitted black vest when you discover it has been nibbled on by moths? What to do with that knitted hat when it just won’t shrink during the felting process? Well, two of our Lachlan C.C members showed us the solution to both problems today. Cathie hand-knit decals to cover the moth holes in her black vest which now sports its own boutique, funky look. Sandra refused to be beaten by the hand-knit hat which would not shrink – now she has a delightful tote bag.
We don’t accept failure amidst our group!
